You’re probably familiar with the Tom’s model: they sell shoes, but the key differentiating feature is that they also donate shoes for the shoes you buy. This is the community-oriented key differentiating feature. Other key differentiating features can be:
- Where the products are made, or where they are purchased (ex. delivery vs. in-store)
- How the products are made
- The kinds of source materials the products use
- The type of warranty you offer (5 times longer than the industry average, maybe?)
